Church Cleaners
There are a number of parishioners, who voluntarily undertake church cleaning, and this is notified in the parish newsletter in advance. Each group has an appointed leader. Cleaning is usually done on a Saturday morning commencing at 10 am, or Thursday at 10am or 2pm, and generally lasts for about an hour, depending on the number of helpers. There are always opportunities for more parishioners to join any one of the various groups, or to form a new group, who could meet at more suitable times. Any parishioner wishing to join should contact the Presbytery.
Flower Arrangers
There are four groups of parishioners, made up of between 2 or 3
members, who do flower arranging for the weekend Parish Masses and
for other special Church occasions. Each group does its work in
rotation and the group members are notified in the Parish newsletter
each week. All of the flower arranger groups would welcome new members.
To join, contact : Mrs Patricia Clark, telephone 0208 450 4445.
Hospitality
This group of parishioners provides welcoming and hospitality at
special parish events. They meet as and when the need arises to
decide what food needs to be purchased for the particular occasion.
This group would welcome new members. To join, contact the Presbytery.
Repository
This group of Parishioners takes it in turns to sell newspapers,
Mass cards and other religious items in the side chapel after each
of the weekend masses from our Repository ‘shop ‘. New
helpers are always welcome. If you would like to help, contact the
Presbytery.
